Rev. Mary M. Brown

An ordained pastor, Mary M. Brown has served at Trinity Lutheran Congregation, Minneapolis; Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, Minneapolis and Calvary Lutheran Church of Golden Valley. Mary was a part of the initial team that launched the WorkingPreacher website at Luther Seminary, St. Paul. and then moved to Odyssey Networks in Manhattan, NY, where she was named the founding editor of ON Scripture, a weekly news based lectionary resource for The Huffington Post Religion page. She is also the editor of the widely used small group study, My Neighbor is Muslim, along with a number of other congregational resources at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota. Mary an ambassador for the Islamic Resource Group of Minnesota and an active member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church. Currently serving as director of development for People Reaching Out to People in Eden Prairie, Mary is honored to volunteer her time on the Church Anew blog team.
