Rev. Mihee Kim-Kort
Mihee Kim-Kort is a Presbyterian minister, agitator, speaker, writer, and slinger of hopeful stories about faith and church. Her writing and commentary can be found in the NY Times, TIME, BBC World Service, USA Today, Huffington Post, On Being, Christian Century, Sojourners, and Faith and Leadership. She is co-pastor with her spouse of First Presbyterian Church in Annapolis, MD and a doctoral candidate in Religious Studies at Indiana University.
In her most recent book, Outside the Lines, she shows us how God, in Jesus, loves in a way that doesn't always fit our categories or language. Through the life, work, and witness of Jesus, we see a God who loves us beyond the lines we put up. Our faith in that God then becomes a queer spirituality--whenever we love ourselves and our neighbors with this love, we live out a radical kind of generosity, hospitality, and solidarity with the world.
With a captivating mix of personal story and biblical analysis, Outside the Lines shows us how each of our bodies fits into the body of Christ. Outside the lines, without limits and without exceptions.
