Church Anew provides a virtual worship service for the anniversary of George Floyd's death, May 25 or as a worship service for congregations on Sunday, May 30.

In partnership with the Minneapolis Area Synod and Calvary Lutheran on 39th and Chicago, Church Anew hosts a virtual worship service for congregations. This worship service centers Black voices within our congregations, providing space for original poetry, liturgy for confession and healing, eclectic and spirited music for communal song, and preaching for justice and wholeness. This worship service is available now digitally for your congregation to use on the anniversary of George Floyd's death, May 25 or as a worship service for Sunday, May 30.

The worship service is free to use. We simply ask that you let us know when you plan to use it, so that the Church Anew team can hold you and your congregation in prayer.
