The Church living into its call to economic justice can lead the way both by diminishing its own economic power to pay off debts and finance reform, but also to advocate for an end to predatory practices.

Moreso than any other community or institution, the church is uniquely situated to help communities navigate a year of uncertainty. And yet we must recognize that our culture is not one that is accustomed to uncertainty

The parable of the talents then would become a commentary at large about an economy that uses people and values things rather than values people and uses things.
